David Kool hired as a full-time assistant basketball coach at Western Michigan. “In the perfect dream world, coach Hawkins would stay here as long as he wants to and I can stay right alongside and kind of become his wing man,” Kool said. “And then, at the end of the day, he can hopefully hand the reins down to me and I can take over as head coach and stay at one university my whole career, as a player and a coach.“I think that would be the ultimate dream goal for me right now, because I’ve fallen in love with Kalamazoo and this where I want to be.” I LOVE DAVE
